Care Guide

Bentwood rings are built to be durable, low-maintenance pieces of jewelry that you can enjoy for years to come. That being said, there are a couple of practices that will help keep your Ridge Line Ring in like-new condition for as long as possible.

Abrasion Awareness

Wooden rings will always be more likely to experience scuffing than a metal ring might be, so be mindful of this when doing manual labor or operating heavy machinery. Each ring is provided with a high-strength, protective coating that allows it to stand up to everyday wear very well but, like anything else, the more care and respect that is shown, the longer these rings will last. If you’re doing something abrasive (working out, digging in the garden, doing heavy manual labor, etc.) we recommend either taking the ring of for those activities, or wearing gloves.

Finish Solvents

The polymer used to coat the rings is very good at resisting water, oils produced by our hands, and any number of household soaps and detergents. The one thing that will tarnish the finish of the ring is Acetone, so be careful around nail polish remover, lacquer thinner and things like that.
