Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will Water Damage These Rings?

A: No, every Ridge Line ring is sealed with a protective coat that renders it waterproof. They do not have to be taken off while washing your hands, taking a shower, or even going for a swim!

Q: Will They Break or Crack?

A: Not without great effort. Every material has its limit, but Ridge Line Rings are designed to exhibit great strength and should be able to stand up to normal, everyday wear without any problems.

Q: Will They Scratch More Easily Than a Metal Ring?

A: Yes, they are more susceptible to scratching than a metal ring would be, simply because metals have higher densities than wood. However, the coating that every ring receives ensures that it will resist scuffing and scratching better than the vast majority of other wooden rings. Because of this, you shouldn't have to worry about your ring on a day to day basis but, if you're working out or doing heavy manual labor, you may want to consider taking your ring off to keep it in top condition for as long as possible.

Q: Are the Inlays in Your Rings Genuine Stones?

A: Absolutely! Every inlay, be it Lapis, Malachite, Turquoise, or any other stone we use is from genuine mined materials from all over the world. Also, 99.99% pure silver is used in all of our rings that include silver bands.
